Mit Headphones Baby veröffentlichen The Vaccines die erste Single aus ihrem noch in diesem Jahr erscheinenden neuen Album.
Ganz ruhig war es um The Vaccines in den vergangenen drei Jahren, seit der Veröffentlichung ihres Albums Combat Sports, eigentlich nie gewesen. Da gab es Solo Material wie auch Cover Songs für die Fans der Briten. Nun scheint das neue Album so gut wie fertig zu sein und die Band veröffentlicht den ersten Song daraus.
Sänger Justin sagt über den neuen Song Headphones Baby:
Sometimes life can leave you feeling numb and desperate to feel something. Headphones Baby is about creating an escape from that – plugging in to plug out and cocooning yourself from the reality of the outside world in the warm embrace of somebody else’s mind.
